大家引颈企盼的“What’s Ur Rhythm” 歌曲创作比赛决赛终于在功夫灌蓝UTH FEST 嘉年华会进行了。马来同胞 “The Colours ” 乐队现场演绎了两首曲子，为此比 赛掀开序幕。The Colours 除了是表演嘉宾外，他们也是参赛者之一。所有参赛者都使尽浑身解数，希望能透过这次的创作比赛，让更多人听见自己的音乐和他们音乐的执着。
“What’s Ur Rhythm” 歌曲创作比赛的参赛者必须把 “Funkees” 、 “Kung Fu” 和 “ 篮球 ” 三个元素融入歌词当中，成功入围决赛的 8 名参赛者必须现场演绎该作品。从马六甲前来参赛的徐志勇（译名）将 Funkees ，篮球和功夫的主题，与自己撰写的歌曲结合，形成一首青春活力的歌曲“篮球爱”。苏明贤则以自创的饶舌为主要元素，呈现一首动感十足的“斗牛一对一” 。 此歌曲的编曲为现场观众带来 意外 惊喜 。在籍中学生叶家豪以自弹自唱的方式现场演绎自己编写的歌曲“Funkees ” 。 籍由木吉他的简单伴奏，带出了校园的青春气息。此外，此比赛唯一的女参赛者，朱凤玲，在现场以她甜而不腻，清脆却不虚弱的歌声呈现了温柔甜蜜的“幸福 Funkees ”。
这场音乐爱好者龙争虎斗的创作比赛，最终由无论外形和歌曲风格都和周杰伦有点想象的黄伟宽赢得大会的大奖。奖品包括 RM1000 现金，一台价值 RM600 的 ALPHA 热水器，价值 RM300 的 Converse 现金礼卷，和价值 RM150 的 Mamee Funkees 礼蓝。他和他的键盘手现场演绎了他们的作品，“功夫灌蓝”。此歌曲在词曲创作和编曲的部分都相当完整，赢得现场观众的青睐。
以参赛队伍出场的 The Colours 则以 live band 的方式演唱他们的马来创作曲，并把现场气氛带到高潮。最后他们得到第二名，取走 价值RM500 的Ellesse 现金礼卷，价值RM200 的Converse 现金礼卷，和价值RM150 的Mamee Funkees 礼蓝。第三名的 苏明贤（译名） 获得价值RM300 的Ellesse 现金礼卷，价值RM100 的Converse 现金礼卷，和价值RM150Mamee Funkees 礼蓝。 比赛结束后，所有优胜者与功夫灌蓝之星 —周杰伦和陈楚河进行合照。
歌曲创作比赛决赛终于在功夫灌蓝UTH FEST 嘉年华会当天除了有创作比赛的决赛以外，主办当局更邀请到 本地的歌手和表演团体参与演出，例如Liang ， Point Blanc ， Serene 詹雪琳，和 Karen Kong 龚柯允，李伟菘音乐教室 Performing Club, 还有Hitz.fm Hip Pop Contest 的优胜者 。除此之外， Urban Groove 当天也呈现了他们精湛的舞蹈演出。此比赛提供了一个平台让音乐发烧友交流和展现，最终圆满结束。

The long-been-anticipated “What’s Ur Rhythm” contest was finally begun with a live band performance by “The Colours” during the Kung Fu Dunk Uth FEST. Not just bringing the special performance, “The Colours” was also one of the contestants on that day and the second winner of the contest!
One of the contestants, Swee Chee Yoong presenting his contesting song, translated as the Love of Basketball. The contestants were to compose their own songs, with the themes of Basketball, Funkees, and Kung Fu.
The only female contestant on that day, Chee Fong Ling, presenting "Happy Funkees"!
This contesting song is exactly “Kung Fu Dunk”, in conjunction with the movie.
Another contestant, Soh Meng Say, amazed the audiences with his creative rapping of Dou Niu Yi Dui Yi and became the third prize winner!
Yap Kah Hoe revealed his music talent by playing the acoustic while singing his self-composed song called Funkees.

The competition ended with the photo session of the winners with the Kung Fu Dunk stars – Jay Chou and Baron Chen.
Ong Wei Kuan and his keyboardist proudly received their grand prizes, which include RM 1, 000 cash, an ALPHA Shower Heater worth RM 600, Converse cash voucher worth RM 300, and Mamee Funkees hamper worth RM 150.
The second winner was entitled to get Ellesse cash voucher worth RM 500, Converse cash voucher worth RM 200, and Mamee Funkees hamper worth RM 150; while the third winner received Ellesse cash voucher worth RM 300, Converse cash voucher worth RM 100, and Mamee Funkees hamper worth RM 150.
Point Blanc and the group were also performing during the event!
And yes, they rolled the floor!
Another local artist, Serene, also appeared with her trade-marked mask!
Serene is in love with slow rock music.

Other performers of that night are Liang and our special guest - the winner of Hitz.fm Hip Pop Contest. Not just that, the Urban Groove was also there to perform their well-known dancing talents.
Liang was singing his lungs out!
